I'm Ashleen, the founder and celebrant behind Vibes & Vows a wedding celebrancy service working with couples across the UK.

I became a celebrant because I truly believe a ceremony should reflect the couple standing at the front of it. When I planned my own wedding, hearing our story told back to us through someone else's eyes was one of the most powerful parts of the whole day. That's what I want to give every couple I work with.

For me, a ceremony isn't just about the moment itself. It's a chance to celebrate everything that brought two people to that point, all the people who shaped them along the way, and the excitement of what's still ahead. It's about honouring who you are as individuals and what you're becoming together.

A lot of couples tell me they're "not that unique," that their story is nothing special. I don't believe that for a second. My job is to ask the right questions, in a space where you feel comfortable enough to actually open up, and find the thing that makes your story yours. It's always there. It just needs drawing out.
